Upon completion, participants will have a better understanding of:
- The health conditions most common to seniors--including heart disease, osteoporosis, arthritis, joint replacement, pulmonary disease and chronic pain.
- Evidence-based movement precautions and considerations specific to these conditions.
- How to safely and effectively adapt yoga practices to older adults.
- The experiential application of this appoach.
